Coming to terms with an addiction to any substance or activity can be really difficult.  Not to mention that this experience can leave you feeling incredibly lonely and it may sometimes feel like a never-ending battle. However, it is important to know that you are not alone and you can do something to change your life.

Therapy can be the answer you have been looking for.  In therapy, you will be given the time and space to explore and understand the driving forces behind your addiction. Not to mention that you will benefit from the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques, allowing you to better manage your addiction in the future.

On the whole, I have experience in working with people who have suffered some form of addiction. I did my practical experience with Caritas San Blas (both male and female residents) and Dar Kenn Għal Saħħtek.  Additionally, I am currently employed as a counsellor, where I also work with clients with addiction problems.  Furthermore, I have also worked with clients experiencing anxiety and depression, who turn to drugs and/or alcohol to lessen the impact.
